Licensing help

Who buys fonts? Me or my client?
For desktop use, whoever installs the fonts on their computer needs to have a license.
For webfonts, each license allows the fonts to be used on 1 domain owned and controlled by 1 entity. Each entity requires a separate license.

Epubs
You can purchase a licence for embedding in Epubs (PDF, iBook, Kindle, ePub etc.). The licence is permanent (one-time fee) for each publication title. You can also purchase licenses for multiple publication titles at the same time, or a a later time.
Each documents format counts as a publication title.
If you are using the fonts to dynamically generate documents in such formats or for variable data printing, a server licence is requested.

Apps
You can purchase a licence for embedding in Applications (iOS, Android, Windows Mobile etc.). The licence is permanent (one-time fee) for each application title. You can also purchase licenses for multiple application titles at the same time, or a a later time.
Each application platform counts as a publication title. The fonts are licensed per app and not per users so they may be used by as many developers as necessary.
